Tekla McCabe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from the University of Utah with her Master’s of Social Work and is also a proud alumna of Carthage College where she graduated with her Bachelor’s in Social Work.

Through her experience with the Salvation Army, Department of Child Services, Department of Corrections, and other outpatient behavioral and substance abuse treatment centers, Tekla has developed an eclectic approach in therapy. She has used therapeutic interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing in hopes to build a strong relationship with all clients. Tekla strives towards meaning and happiness in life and hopes to extend that to all.

Current populations Tekla works with includes children ages 15 to 18 as well as adults.
