Maria is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s degree in Psychology. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the State of Florida. Maria has worked in a variety of settings including schools and nursing homes.

Maria enjoys working with people seeking change in their lives, while offering a safe place for them to explore themselves and the relationships around them.

Maria’s work with clients is influenced by a Cognitive Behavioral Approach and an Existential/Client Centered Approach. She has an interest in working with children and adults as well as individuals, couples, families and groups.

Maria has experience working with trauma, anxiety and depression, couple’s counseling, relational issues, and life transitions.
