Hello, my name is Loraine. I became a mental health counselor because I wanted to help individuals struggling with behavioral and emotional difficulties. I worked with the Broward county school board for a number of years and I saw children struggling with mental health and behavioral issues. I decided I wanted to make a difference in the lives of children and their family and am excited to be a part of this team. I am here because I want to make a difference in the lives of children and their family.

I have worked with children in the foster care, and children that have been adopted struggling with trauma related problems, women in crisis, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, children with ADHD and other behavioral issues. My goal is to provide a holistic care for these individuals and their family and to provide the support they need to become the best version of themselves, to live a full and normal life. I have been practicing trauma informed Modalities, TBRI Trust-Based relational intervention, play therapy techniques, DBT, CBT and others specific to meet the individual client needs. I have worked in a Christian-based organization, providing care for children and their family and my hope is to continue providing a safe space to help and support the families that I serve.
