Meet Brittany

Plantation Team
Hi, my name is Brittany and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern. I was born and raised in South Florida with an Afro-Caribbean background. I am a current doctoral student at Nova Southeastern University and my therapeutic approach is rooted in narrative therapy.  I believe in the power of the stories we tell about ourselves, and that each person’s narrative is unique. Together we can work to reshape and reclaim your story in a way that promotes healing and growth.
In working with me, I prioritize offering a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your life experiences. In using narrative therapy techniques, we will work together to uncover the themes in your story, challenge unhelpful narratives, and create new and positive storylines that reflect your true potential. I also integrate elements of solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy to provide a well-rounded and tailored approach to my clients’ needs.
I specialize in working with adults and children facing anxiety, depression, self-esteem/body image challenges, divorce, teen-related issues, anger management (children), life transitions, and Christian faith-based needs. If you’re simply looking to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, I am here to help you navigate and transform your story. I enjoy assisting clients create a new chapter filled with hope, resilience, and self-discovery.
Please Note: Brittany is taking new clients at this time!
