Sophia Rose is a graduate of Adelphi University with a Bachelors’ degree in Sociology, and a Masters’ degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Couple & Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University.

She has worked in private practice as well as agency settings, and schools. Additionally, provided therapeutic services for families at the brief therapy institute—the medical therapy clinic. And collaborated with internal medicine, pediatrics, and employee health. Sophia enjoys working in diverse community-focused organizations and has been recognized for her commitment to mentorship, leadership and community engagements. Sophia is the recipient of the All-Star Leadership Academy Award from the Mental Health Association in Broward.

As an insightful therapist, Sophia uses an integrated approach to therapy in an attempt to meet her clients at where they are—emotionally, cognitively, educationally, and relationally. This approach offers Sophia a wide range of therapeutic tools to use in helping clients to work through their issues thoughtfully.
